Our next live webinar focuses on the style icons from the 1960s--including Jean Seberg, Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn, and Faye Dunaway. Every presentation includes stills from the movies and images from today's fashion that are accompanied by a conversation about film history, costumes and their legendary designers, and many fascinating backstories of the stars.

Kimberly, I missed the 1950s and will have to miss tomorrow's 1960s seminar (all due to a life currently out of control). But I'll be catching up once I get back from TCMFF. And then, on to the 1970s...
Oh, I'll miss you, Patty! But of course I understand, so hang in there with your challenges and I'll be thinking of you. Looking forward to seeing you in Hollywood in a couple weeks for the TCM film festival!
We all love our fashion and I look forward to these articles. Of course the 20s flappers are my favorite of the lot but seeing my mother sport the latest fashions of the 70s and remembering the amazing patterns, I can't wait to see what you showcase.
Such a clever topic and one I look forward to.

Hi Page, I think you may be misunderstanding this. These are not articles but rather webinars. You log in and see me presenting live alongside my PowerPoint presentation--you see both on your computer. I've already done the 1920s through 1960s live, and those webinars are now available in video recordings that you can register to see. The live webinar on the 1970s is coming up on April 27th.
I have already written hundreds of articles on this subject--it's what makes up most of GlamAmor. The movies that I cover in the webinar series also have articles that I've already written and can be seen on THE STYLE ESSENTIALS permanent page on GlamAmor.
Thanks for visiting and hope you're able to join us for the webinars. I will likely be repeating the series live starting again in June or July. :)
Hi, Kimberly,
After I caught your conversation on Twitter I realized I wouldn't be seeing the fashions here. That's okay. I've been known to miss a lot of things and this was no exception. And it wouldn't be the first time I got so excited about fashion my eyes glazed over, missing important information like realizing I've never seen a Webinar. Wait for me technology, I'm trying to keep up! : (
Since I'm fairly new to your blog, I promise to go back and read some of your articles. Looking forward to it.
All the best!

Hi again Page! Just to clarify again, you CAN see alllllll those fashions on GlamAmor. All the movies I discuss in the webinar series (which is based on my college class on HISTORY OF FASHION IN FILM) are listed and linked on THE STYLE ESSENTIALS page. It also includes links to articles I've put together on the connections I see between those movies and fashion today. And that's only the beginning! I suggest you start your tour of GlamAmor there and work your way around. ;)
